Summary
Every person on the planet is united by laundry... whether you live in New York, London, Kenya or Afghanistan – everyone needs to wash and dry their clothes. 'Hanging Our Planet Out To Dry' will show young people how washing and drying clothes has a significant environmental impact by creating an interactive web site focused on drying naturally vs. electric drying and the high carbon emissions it causes. The project will include a competition to encourage young people to upload comic content on innovative ways to wash and dry clothes, increasing participation and awareness.
