Summary
to create an international event targeted to the local community and students to celebrate the diversity in our community. The event will be held at Exeter University and will celebrate the Chinese New Year in February 2010. Although I am leading the bid I will be supported by the various international societies we have on campus. We will be targeting community areas that are highly populated with Chinese families and residents, this will help stronger integration of international and UK families, residents and students. We will also engage with the local schools to reach the younger population in our area.
