i love working with these young people everday is a fantasic opp to work and get the best out off these but what i dont understand is how children that have been kicked out of mainstrem education get rewards trips etc etc but in life what do the good kids get nothing so i cant just be about the bad kids lets also try and fit in the good children that do well

There are far too many examples of how local and national media portray young people in a negative way.. so to challenge this in the way that you are suggesting is a great idea. Good luck with it..

it is time to stop criticising the youth and downing them in negative media and perceptions otherwise we are only going to keep creating a bigger a divide and become more disengaged with them. I think this is a very good idea and is for a very worthy cause. Thank you for being sensitive to the issues faced by many young people and youth workers/learning mentors (such as myself) alike. i am a firm believer in "it takes a village to raise a child" and i hope you're campaign/idea has a chance to develop into what seems to be a really important scheme.
